Upon Arrival of Your Newborn

The physicians in our practice no longer make visits to the hospital to provide well baby care. All of the hospitals in our area have physicians who are specially trained to take care of your newborn until you leave the hospital. They provide excellent communication with us via the medical record and phone calls when needed . Please be sure to bring any records given to you in the hospital to your baby's first visit. We normally see newborns 1-3 days after discharge from the hospital. You will be advised at discharge when your infant should be seen. Please call from the hospital to set up your first appointment.

To help expedite your first visit, please print and fill out the following forms and bring them to your appointment

Try to arrive 20 minutes before your appointment time and remember it may take longer than you think to pack up all of your infant's gear!
