Flu vaccine is recommended YEARLY for all children. It is usually available starting in September. A flu vaccine is the best way to prevent severe complications from the flu, like pneumonia.
Newer vaccines will be discussed as they become available.
Nationwide shortages of vaccines may occur, which could change the immunization schedules.
Our practice follows guidelines in accordance with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) for check-ups, screening lab work, and immunizations.
*These vaccines are optional but strongly encouraged by all of our providers for the long-term health of your child.
